Dinner in Porky's Cavern End 2024

As the cold wind whistled outside, a cozy warmth filled Porky’s Cavern. Tonight was special—a rare gathering where everyone in the cavern joined forces to cook and feast together.

Ephant, ever careful with his giant trunk, stirred a massive pot of vegetable stew over the fire. The rich aroma filled the air as he hummed a gentle tune. “A pinch of salt, and we’re all set,” he rumbled, grinning at the bubbling masterpiece.

Benjamin, the clever leader and undisputed brains of the cavern, orchestrated the preparations like a maestro. “Bento, don’t eat the fish yet! That’s for the main course,” he called out, catching the big-eating cat mid-swipe. Bento grinned sheepishly but quickly placed the fish back on the chopping board.

Sushi, the notorious and sly cat, had a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. She darted between the dishes, “tasting” everything with the pretext of quality control. “Someone has to make sure it’s perfect,” she purred, her tail flicking as she snagged a sausage unnoticed.

Meanwhile, Benedict, the big and jovial pig, was in charge of desserts. His sticky snout was covered in frosting as he worked on a giant cake. “This’ll be the highlight of the night,” he declared, though most of the frosting seemed to have ended up on his face rather than the cake.

As the dishes piled up, the cavern’s long table transformed into a colorful spread of hearty stew, roasted vegetables, grilled fish, and Benedict’s precariously leaning cake. Everyone gathered around, laughter echoing off the cavern walls.

“This,” Benjamin said, raising his glass of cider, “is what makes us more than just inhabitants of Porky's Cavern, We’re family ! ”

Uncle Bob Fishing Rod

When Papoi was younger, the Porkidigans always sang this lullaby to help him drift off to sleep:

Porky and Benedict,
They want to go fishing,
But they don’t have a fishing rod,
So they borrow from Uncle Bob.

Today, while traveling on the highway, we stumbled upon a shop owned by Uncle Bob. He's real ! and selling the Porkidigans number one favourite food, Fried Chicken !!!

Christmas FirePlace !

Christmas was always a magical time for Porky and his friends. For years, their tradition revolved around decorating a big, bright Christmas tree in the center of their cozy hangout. But this year, something different sparked their creativity—the Papoi School project. The challenge? To create something festive using only recycled materials.

“We’re building a fireplace!” Porky announced, holding up a stack of old carton boxes. His friends, Benedict, Tudolf, and Ephant, looked skeptical at first.

“A fireplace? Out of boxes?” Benedict asked, tapping his fingers thoughtfully on one of the cartons.

“Not just any fireplace,” Porky said with a grin, “a digital one—with a fire simulation on the TV screen!”

Excitement buzzed through the group as they gathered their supplies. They stacked the cartons carefully, creating the outline of a traditional fireplace. Tudolf used his artistic flair to paint the boxes in shades of brick red and rustic brown, adding white lines to mimic mortar. Ephant, ever the perfectionist, added a mantel using an old wooden plank they found in the shed.

As they worked, laughter filled the room. Benedict struggled to keep the paint from splattering on his shirt, while Tudolf accidentally turned Ephant into a walking work of art with a misplaced brushstroke.

The finishing touch was the “fire.” Porky placed their TV set inside the faux fireplace and streamed a crackling digital fire from a free holiday video. The effect was stunning—warm, flickering light danced on the painted bricks, making the whole setup feel cozy and inviting.

On Christmas Eve, they gathered around their DIY fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and exchanging gifts. The warm glow of the digital fire reflected in their eyes as they admired their handiwork.

“This is better than a Christmas tree,” Benedict said, leaning against the mantel. “It feels... homemade, you know?”

Porky smiled, his snout twitching with pride. “It’s not just about what we build—it’s about building it together.”

And as the artificial fire crackled on screen, Porky and his friends knew they had started a new tradition, one they’d cherish for years to come.

Bento Getting Comfy

Oh, there’s nothing quite like this—curled up in a snug little basket on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The sides hug me just right, like the coziest embrace, and the woven texture beneath my paws feels oddly satisfying. The sunlight streams in gently, warming my fur, and the distant hum of the world lulls me deeper into my nap. Sure, it’s a tight fit, but that’s the charm—nothing beats the bliss of being perfectly tucked in, as if this basket was made just for me.

Christmas Night Mass

Christmas Eve was always a special time for us, and as tradition dictated, going to church was a must. This year, however, brought a refreshing change—we were heading to a new venue near Papoi School. Excitement bubbled under the surface as we dressed in our best attire, the festive spirit already filling the air.

The church stood tall and welcoming, adorned with twinkling lights and a simple yet elegant nativity scene by the entrance. It was smaller than the one we usually visited but carried an undeniable charm. As we walked in, the warm glow of candles illuminated the pews, and the soft hum of the choir practicing in the background created an almost magical atmosphere.

The service began, and the congregation sang carols with heartfelt joy, their voices blending harmoniously with the melodies of the organ. The priest’s sermon, though brief, was profound, reminding us of the true essence of Christmas—love, humility, and hope.

As we left the church, the cool night air greeted us, and for a moment, everything felt perfect. The stars above seemed brighter, as if celebrating with us. Trying a new venue had been a gamble, but it turned out to be the perfect decision. This Christmas Eve was one we’d remember for years to come.
