Last Day of Christmas

 Today is the 7th day that marked a complete week for the Christmas celebration in Porky's Cavern. Big Gween will be kept safely in the store for next year celebration. It's been a nice little Christmas for all the Porkidigans, ending 2023 with joy and happiness. May 2024 bring us more adventure and lots of fun !

 Since the weather is cold with drizzle of light rain, we decided to have steam boat for dinner. 2 new Porkidigans member joined in for the food Fiesta. All ended with full summy (pksh : tummy).

On the 2nd day of Christmas 2023, Porky decided to get himself a small present. This is a token of appreciation for himself after a long hard year, and trust us..it was a long hard year !

Our Christmas tree is up ! The Porkidigans have to manage this year without Tudolph as he is stucked in the North Pole due to travel restriction for Covid pandemic. This year, we got ourselves a new train set, G Scale as usual. Previous 2 already broken due to Bukpeel and mishap during storage. Will blog about our new Train soon, it's so cool.

Christmas 2019 - The Feast

Oh well, it's a long way till Christmas this year but no harm planning as we see where fit. We will be getting ornaments, cutlery, wine glasses and theme table ware as we roam around. Not forgetting to plant a small pine tree. 

No last minute rush as 2019 Xmas :), but that was fun as well :) Tudolph is excited while he plan out his stuff in hibernation, this year Xmas dinner going to be awesome..

Blog Catch Up..

It's has been a while for sure. Time really flies. Nevertheless life is good. Lots of changes over the last 2 years in the life of the Porkidygans, many stories to be told ranging from PC1 moved to PC2, new Rustbucket Camper Van, The Rise of Ephantdigans, good foods, trips and a range of crackling contraptions built in Porky's Lab for sharing. Looking forward to a new an exciting year 2020!!!

Papoi First Bobobike

It is in the Porkydigans tradition that everybody must be able to ride on 2 wheels, balancing the human powered machine.. or also known as 'bobobike' (pksh : bicycle or motorbike). Last Christmas during his year end school escapade and holiday, Papoi got his first bobobike after a long wait. We decided to get it in Cat's City, from the same shop his dad got his about 12-14 years ago. To our surprise, its the same uncle in Porky's favorite singlet who help to assemble it. There will be more post as we venture into the wonderful world of cycling, for now Papoi can't wait to get his hands on it.. full speed ahead says Porky sitting in the front basket !

Millennium Falcon Star Wars Christmas

It is finally December 2018, the long waited Star Wars series - the Last Jeylai  (pksh : Jedi) will be screening in cinema. Beep beep blue ray cheers all the Porkydigans ! ready the BopCorn n BotDog to munch on. Star Wars is always an old time favorite, dated back to the first movie in 1977 - A New Hope - Episode IV (4). Just imagine, its exactly 40 years old ! which also about the age of the oldest Porkydigans ! - pheeww.. that's a long run.

This Xmas, we bought a special toy for Papoi, a Hot Wheels version of Millennium Falcon from the movie, piloted by Heinz Bolo (pksh : Hans Solo) and Chewbacca the Big Foot or Sasquatch.There will be more post on the original space ship from the movie, mostly on the technical stuff. Porky believe one day in future, humanity will be able to explore space easily just like jumping in a car and drive it.

Papoi setup - Xmas Party with Lego Action Figures

One we got is a part of the big world of Hot Wheels Track Builder Series. It's a manual launching pad with a stopover like R&R - (entry on side, turn table will re position the vehicle for new direction, and drop down door will lower it to bottom track, before the reverse slop slowly back it to the launcher for firing). It also seems to have a repair shop manned by robotics arms and parking slot. The cool part is it comes with a press to activate sound FX set with voices of R2-D2, BB-8, ChewBacca & firing laser sound -lots of fun. We found out Lego action figures fit nicely to the scale - so all the Star Wars figures are back for a good play.

Part Time Porkydigans Wanted ! (LEGO)

Tudolph managed to secure another 2 sets of Lego for the Big Gween mini Christmas town project. But there is a problem, according to his critical path calculation in the project schedule.. there is not enough Porkydigan to work on this special project, rest are all tight up in the garden. This round, we got Leaning Tower of Pisa and Tower Bridge, totaling up to 2,425 pcs ! It must be ready in time for Christmas at all cost. Hence mayor Porky posted out an advertisement for recruitment of part time Lego constructor, food and accommodation provided, 1 bear coin per day..

Benjamin says this year we will do something bextraordinary !, he wants a mini Bego (pksh : Lego) Christmas Town under our Big Gween. Tudolph scramble to work on it, shipping in few boxes of Lego like brick toys (at a fraction of the cost as its not really Lego). Quality wise, it is equally comparable. Big saving says Porky, stretching his Bear Coins to the max. For this round, we got a giant clock tower of England.. Big Ben !

More Gnomes Heading to Porky's Cavern

Porky is happy today, the remaining Gnomes he recruited from Philippines has started their journey to Porky's Cavern. It will be a long trip, marching downhill from the mountain of Tagaytay to the Batangas Port with their backpack. But unfortunately they might not make it in time for Christmas this year, as they travel by sea. So for this year, only 2 Gnomes will be celebrating with us, and they have successfully set up the Big Gween with Tudolph. They bid farewell to the Gnome factory owner in Tagaytay for the last time and will be serving Master Porky from now on. Here is Part 1.

Finally, after 364 days of waiting since the last celebration, its finally 12.00 in the midnight ! MERRRRY KEEEEEESSSMAS ! (with roars and cheers from the PorkyDigans under the Big Gween). Here are some of the snapshots..

Since Horton and Porky will be away for Christmas this year, the celebration in Porky's Cavern need to be coordinated from afar. For this, Porky hired a new assistant, Mr. Turdolph the Reindeer. Basically, Mr. Turdolph here will ensure our little Christmas celebration will be megafun for the rest of the Porkydigans. As a part of the tradition, all of them will sing and party and sleep under the Big Gween (our Christmas Tree as Porky refer to it). Horton calculated that the shortest walking distance to the gift boxes is just beneath Big Gween, so everybody decided to sleep under it to be ready for the next day which is the Boxing Day, where all gifts boxes and wrapping will be torned apart ferociously.

Time for HOLIDAY ! Pt.2

Porky and Horton will be in Singapore for 2011 year end holiday, period. Oh well, there are other places to choose from but it was mutually agreed by the counsel of the Porkydigans because its the nearest to Porkyville. They will be taking a bus instead of flying in an angopane, sick and tired of frequent flying lately.

This trip will be exciting and  here are some of the places that we'll be heading to. Porky have jotted down in his 555 notebook 'to do list', here it goes :

1) Punch Shreck in the face at Universal Studios
2) Kidnap a Capybara during the Night Safari in Sg. Zoo
3) Chop down the biggest christmas tree at Orchard Road
4) Recruitment of new Porkydigans from Sg. Zoo

We got ourselves a snowman from the Pippipines, its a giant 1 ft tall snowman. You can keep cookies in it too, Porky will use to keep our midnight snack to kill the late night hungriness.

Horton is back from the Philippine ! He has been sent on a secret mission since Oct'11, to find and purchase Christmas goodies for Porky's Cavern. Here is one cool running light that he brought home. The reindeers looks like babbits (rabbits) and bits very cool, only in my cavern says Porky.
