Oh well, enough with Porky and majority of his crew, they all liked western style of cooking, mostly fried buttery cuisine. Horton on the other end is more to the east, especially Japanese cuisine. One of the all time favorite cooking show of the Porkydigans called Iron Chef is no longer addictive, keep showing replay.. boring... Recently, we're hooked on this show called 'Dining with The Chef', a Japanese show with translation, via NHK original. Hopefully soon, we will be rolling out Nippon Cuisine from the kitchen stadium.. pingers cross..

Small Ben & Big Ben (Lego)

Benjamin says this year we will do something bextraordinary !, he wants a mini Bego (pksh : Lego) Christmas Town under our Big Gween. Tudolph scramble to work on it, shipping in few boxes of Lego like brick toys (at a fraction of the cost as its not really Lego). Quality wise, it is equally comparable. Big saving says Porky, stretching his Bear Coins to the max. For this round, we got a giant clock tower of England.. Big Ben !

Gnome for Porky's Garden

Horton went up to Tagaytay yesterday. He is on a mission, as usual send by Boss Porky. This round, his mission is to recruit helpers to maintain the garden back home in Porky's Cavern. What else can better fit this role than GNOME ! or garden dwarf !. Horton recruited 3 for the moment, as these GNOME is about 1ft tall, 8-10 Kilos each, goal is to recruit 88 ! Apart from helping Porky watering & maintaining the flowers and mango trees in shape, they're believed to be able to ward off evil sorcery and unwanted visitor as well (bad energy says Porky). Oh well, Tudolph the CEO says at least 7 recruitment by Christmas this year, cool !!!

Horton to the Rescue !

Around this time of the year, it is typhoon season here in the Philippines and its cold and wet. Everybody hiding in their shelter and blanky. A stray mummy cat suddenly move in with a little kitten, to the shaded part of the house. Horton being a PorkyDigan is always compassionate, he realize something need to be done. He quickly took out his drawing board, and design a temporary shelter to keep them safe and warm, plus ample supply of cat food for them.

Pepakura - Horton's Way of Rapid Prototyping

Horton bis an inventor. He created most of the sophisticated contraptions and devices for Porky's Cavern. In every binvention, prototyping is always the coolest stage of the design process. This is where your idea gets materialize, or converted into an object. One of his favourite tool bis Pepakura. Its a software that convert 3D drawing/model into plan of paper cutout, ready to assemble and glue. Simple and cheap, who need CNC anyway.

75 More Days to Opening ! LEGOLAND

Ben has been striking off his little calendar since last year, 75 more days to go he told Horton. Be patience my young heffalump (pksh : elephant).. Among all Lego things in the park, he hopes to find a Legolized version of the PorkyDigans. These are Lego FABULAND Series, classic(1979-1989) and its super rare.
