After on several occasions seeing an Optimus Prime standing in the carpark of the Shore, Porky and the Porkidigans went and check it out. It's cool ! Welded steel structure about 18 ft tall just like in the movie. On the nameplate, it is stated it belong to a Toy Museum which is in the mall, so since we are dropping by to check out Porky's friend the Puffer Fish, we might just check it out.

As we are not that hungry tonight, so some light dinner with intense flavor seems to be a good choice. Maybe it's been a while since we had Japanese cuisine (within the month still), so since is just a dinner we shouldn't overthink as hunger is unbearable and just set foot into Sushi Mentai. Oh.. of course we drove the new Red Baron to test it out..

PennyWise Has Returned

It has been a while since Porky and the gang goes for groceries shopping at BeconSave. We used to go there as is close to PC1. But now at PC2 even nearer, funny that we rarely come back here that often. Today after robot class we decided to drop by, parked at one of the parking spot. To our surprises we found some mystery link to PennyWise the terror clown. It has escaped from Derby to our town. Evidence is clear near the drain. We jumped back into the car and speed off.

Berkelah Di Tanjung Bidara

After the movie, we cruised towards the beach with the newly repaired Preserverance (air sensor wire connector problem solved). Now we can confidently drive him for longer range continuing our plan for camping and sleeping under the stars someday. But for today, a short stroll and simple picnic at the beach for sunset viewing will do just great. 

We went to Tanjung Bidara beach and another beach at the Turtle Sanctuary. A bit hot, and sun didn't set till late into 715 pm. Oh well, not bad for a weekend trip !!!

Finally, the movie is just a few minutes away. We bought tickets of 3 for $45 including the snack (combo = 1 popcorn + 2 drinks). Freebies includes 2 nice postcard size bookmark of Kong and Gojira ! Once the cinema door number lights up, we run like being chased by zombies into the hall...

The movie was cool, no spoilers here just that it's not really a suprise as we knew the Mecha Godzilla from another earlier Japanese version. Well worth watching and action packed yet intense, Ephant say, thumbs up ! 

Sunday Fun Breakfast

Today is a long waited day for the Porkidigans, because the movie Kong versus Godzilla is finally here. So we all ran to the Preserverance and heads down to town. But before everything else, breakfast is the most important meal of the day as usual.

The Porkidigans being native Hakka, we practiced detox the traditional way, that is to go back to the roots of our culture. On this Sunday, after waking up not too late into the noon, we went for groceries shopping for fresh meat and veges at NSK. Before that, as usual.. breakfast is important.

Finally the long waited weekend is here again, so as usual after sending Papoi to coding class, the rest of the Porkidigans drive around Jonker Street to find new place that brings those nostalgic ambience and great food. 

Passing by on the way to the big tree food court, we saw this new spot and manage to sit in. Not bad we would say given the morning breeze is still on our side. Place is called Zhi BBQ House. Definitely Benedict took out his notebook and record it.
