Seek Peace & Problems Will Go Away

When you're doing something and enjoying it very much, like a hobby, a dream, or a long delayed intention - at that very moment in time of the enjoyment, your mind will be at peace. It seems that our wonderful mind will switch only to that channel, filtering out all other daily issues/worries in life for example dues for rent, unpaid bills, work deadline at office and the list goes on and on. The stress of worrying about all those small things in life seems to be gone, right in that moment when you're at peace with yourself, in this context - enjoying what you really like to do.

Porky stumbled over this video, a short documentary about the life of owning and running a Ramen noodle store in Japan. Well, not much into the Ramen itself, but more on the Chef sheer determination. Small setup, multitude tasks to do daily, long working hours, going back late and waking up early and small earning per sales doesn't seems to matter at the end of the day. Its a good motivational video to the Porkidigans, it inspired us to seek and do what we like the most, stop worrying about the small things and most importantly, seek peace within our inner self and live life to the fullest.

Remote Control for Life

If there is a cool contraption that we would like to have now, it would be the remote control from the movie Click (by Adam Sandler). But why need one if all Porkydigans are living their lives to the fullest ! a good movie to watch, it really portrayed that all time and effort spend at work will gain you something but loses other more important things in life like family and health. Porky will always remember Morty's advice..

“Remember the cereal Leprechaun?” he asked. He was referring to the little leprechaun that always talked about the marshmallow cereal being magically delicious. Morty continued, “The Leprechaun was always chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but in the end there was only corn flakes.”

fast forward, rewind and pause your LIFE !

The Godfather

It's in my vein, it's in my conscience says Porky. He just couldn't help it. That is how he build his empire, from a humble little nobody pig in Machap, to somebody today ! (sort of). So on this lazy Saturday afternoon, it worth a penny or two to re-read this book again (with my finger crossed), learn some of the good teachings, but pay attention particularly to the dark ones..

The Funny Truth About Time

Time is a precious commodity. It surely flies and one should make full use of it during his/her short time on earth. Living a life everyday without achieving any dream or life goals can be considered an incomplete life. To look back in time and see how far we have come to where we stand at the moment, we believe that is the ultimate trophy for living a full life. It might feel uncomfortable now, as we went outside the box trying something new and risky. Whereas others prefer a stable and peaceful way of living - with feeling of in control of their daily life by repeating routines, and be satisfied with it. This is not the case - we however choose a different path of living, that is to concentrate all our effort and time to realizing our dreams. It has not been easy, but eventually one day in the future when we look back on all the extraordinary things that we have done to bring us closer to achieving our dream, we can proudly say we have lived a life that is full and those who look at us differently before finally understand that they ran out of time !
