Benjamin is an entrepreneur, he capitalized on resources available to him at the right time. After reactivating the abandoned Republic of Cats blog few days ago, he got Horton to work some upgrade & fine tuning to give it a new image, new features to the old site. He always believe that something that was created from a pure idea should pursue continuous improvement, to reach its full potential. Here u have it.. the new site, Catsbook 'connecting cats around the world'

TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toys Evolution !
Back in the 90's, this cartoon is a part of life for the current 30-40's yrs old. It was just ecstatic, combining the elements of pet turtles, art of ninja, cool technology and PIZZA all together in one great mix ! Cat still owned some of the action figures from the 90's, vintage now says Porky, worth a few hundred bear coins at least, but not for sale, meant to be kept. It evolved over the years, change in the design and outfit of the character, Porky say the turtles grew older. Over the years, from the first cartoon back in the 80's, it got reborn under Nickelodeon few years ago, and this year 2014, we will get to watch it in movie ! All excited now..beep beep blue ray.. run towards the popcorn counter, with Benedict and Porky in front..
2014 - kind of scary look
2012 - their feet grew bigger and head smaller
1989 - with the killer grin face (we got all 4 of them !)

Porky Famous Curry.. (Pt.1)
One of our all time favorite, and rest of the Porkydigans is CURRY ! Over the years, we have perfected the dish, from humble beginning with only curry powder + water (curry kosong) to the current super tasty and rich milky recipe, but still with lots of room for improvement. This weekend, with all the imported spices from home, Cat fired up the pot for this masterpiece meal !
400-500 gram meat cubes.. (not Porky)
the curry base : 2 onions, 2 red onions, 5 tomato, 1 garlic
3 spotstato in bigger cubes
rich.. spices from home ! richness...
Stay put for part 2 ya.. sleeeeeeeeeeepy...

Mango Harvesting Day 2014
IS that time of the year again, all the Porkydigans are in the garden on a hot sunny weekend, in their lumberjack apparel, carrying basket, holding ladder and picking up dropped mangoes from the grass. Yup, its the famous Mango Harvesting Time of the year ! this year, only 1 tree seems to be productive, the other one moody lor says Porky because some of its branches got chopped off after the super storm. This year, is Papoy first year joining the Porkydigans in the harvest.. they have lots of fun ... thanks to buncle Dooney too for lending a helping hand..
giant mangoes, almost 1 kg each.. 5-6 inches

Horton Looking East !
Oh well, enough with Porky and majority of his crew, they all liked western style of cooking, mostly fried buttery cuisine. Horton on the other end is more to the east, especially Japanese cuisine. One of the all time favorite cooking show of the Porkydigans called Iron Chef is no longer addictive, keep showing replay.. boring... Recently, we're hooked on this show called 'Dining with The Chef', a Japanese show with translation, via NHK original. Hopefully soon, we will be rolling out Nippon Cuisine from the kitchen stadium.. pingers cross..
step by step cooking at the end !

Fried Rice - Pt. 4 (2014)
Oh well, what else could be better than fried rice for brunch on a lazy Sunday here in the Philippines as always (Pt. 1) (Pt.2) (Pt.3). For this dish, in spite of the name it doesn't have much rice in it, more like a fun snack meal..
Porky named it : Fun Fried Rice
Bingredients - leftover frozen rice, tomatoes, broccoli (and stem), carrot, brinjal, pork sausages, Knorr seasoning for flavoring, salt and pepper, sesame oil. Stir fry the sausages with chopped garlic on heated wok, then vegetables with seasoning, followed by rice. Mix them well, and finally add tomatoes (porky like it fresh-not bobercook). Sprinkle some sesame oil for perfection before serving..
Food Manual
Look what Cat found in his new kitchen in the Philippines, an illustrated poster of cheese, herbs, chili, pasta and bread ! took photo of it, and safekeeping in this blog for a thousand use says Porky.
