 When we were young, probably back in late 80's and early 90's during a slow classroom afternoon, it got you imagining all sort of things that could be available in the future...meaning fast forward the year 2020 itself. Back then, the country have Vision 2020, a long term plan for all and even the world of the future of giant technological leap and advancement...

Fast forward, its now that year and end of it. The anticipation for the greatest year 2020 came with a blow for humanity. Covid 19 Pandemic ! Well that was not expected in everyone's dream and hope for future back in 80/90's for sure.

Morale of the story according to the Porkydigans is Live Life To The Fullest. Simple logic, live every moment (now) of your life to the max. Plan some for future but don't hold back. Its simple formulae to obtain Happines.

Our Christmas tree is up ! The Porkidigans have to manage this year without Tudolph as he is stucked in the North Pole due to travel restriction for Covid pandemic. This year, we got ourselves a new train set, G Scale as usual. Previous 2 already broken due to Bukpeel and mishap during storage. Will blog about our new Train soon, it's so cool.

Jurassic World Paddock 9

In the movie Jurassic World, Claire release the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex at the end as they need extra teeth to battle the Indominus Rex together with the help of the smaller Raptors. With the newest dinosaur addition into our collection, a T-Rex or sort, Porky decided to build a containment to keep him from eating the other Porkidigans. It is named after the movie with improvisation of course. More post will be on the features later so stay put. For now, Porky shout 'asset in containment !'

Now, we are all back into Jurassic Park and Jurassic World hype again. Papoi started to have interest in the wonderful world of Dinosaur. Current favourite are Velociraptors, Indominus Rex and of course the ever famous Tyrannosaurus Rex a.k.a the King. This weekend also a long waited one, PH on Friday so we all get a continuous 3 days hybernation and good food. Porky decided to throw a routine small BBQ .. yummy as ever. We tried to replicate one of the famous Philippines food and hometown native chicken in Bamboo recipe.

After strolling the resort, we decided there in one place that we didn't drop by for while, the Temple Seafood as what we called it. It is a restaurant using the temple compound to serve their good food. Porky can't remember how many times he visited this place, this temple is devoted to the Monkey King and his friends, from the famous Journey To The West and most importantly a character who is a Pig, beep beep blueray !!!

Our appetite are good tonight, so without second thought, we order extra loads to satisfy our craving. The freshness of the crab, prawn and cockles are awesome. The cockles are humongous, like the grandpa version of what we normally tried in Melaka, we even bring back the shell for proof that it is this big. Can't remember how much we paid, the Porkydigans don't really care when it come to satisfying the tummy...

PD Escapade - National Day Pt 1

As routine to celebrate the National Day (a.k.a Independence Day in some countries), we opt for a weekend escapade again !!! The Porkydigans just need to escape every weekend or so, that's a norm to balance out life according to the guide book. Time to wind down from the crazy 8-5 workplace. 

This round, we went to a resort in PD by the name Corus Paradise Resort. First time for us and it all started after Papoi Robotic Class. A smooth drive in Cat's Mobil and we arrived sometime in the evening just in time for a sunset walk at the left side of the beach.

To keep your cyber pet happy, like any other real pet, feeding, cleaning, love and playtime are necessary routine.

Sunday Riddle

Mr. Porky, Benedict and Mr.Mook went to Ramya Curry House on top of the hill, everyone ordered and got their food served EXCEPT Mook.

Di Wang Miao Vegetable

We planted many types of vegetable in our cavern lately, and this one here is known as Di Wang Miao or Emperor Vegetable as we like to call it. Can't remember how long the original plant exist, probably since Porky Cavern 1, circa 2015-2017 maybe but for sure it is a very reliable and resilient plant. Easy to plant, cook and of course eaten as its soft and crunchy..

According to the expert Mr. Ephant, Epsom Salt can be use as alternative fertilizer other than those readily packed from nursery so we gave it a try. True enough, this round of harvest (after many in the past with smaller leaves) it turn into HULK version size. It yield the largest size of leaf we ever seen, upsize at least 3 times from the original. All the Porkydigans raised their pitchfork as a toss to good harvest this season, beep beep blue-ray...

Every now and then we craved for hometown food. To some certain extent, everywhere you look you'll see food floating around, extreme hallucination said Porky ! So today, we decided to cook again our very own hometown favourite - The Sarawak Laksa ! some of the genuine one from Cat's City trip here.

This is not the first time we prepared this in the cavern, perhaps one day Porky will share out the step-by-step cooking recipe as well.

After a long hiatus of good smokey roasted food due to the pandemic, the Porkidigans finally get to to resume the tradition after MCO restriction are relaxed. In celebrating Fathers Day, a small BBQ with few Porkidigans marked the restart of life back to normal.
