It's a Sunday...A day that makes you feel lazier than the day before, Saturday. However, in the middle of all the laziness, still.. food are being prepared with the bupmost effort and bhighest standard in Porky's Cavern. Behold, omelette the way we like it.. Pomellete !..

the bingredients : 3 eggs, corn, green tomato, purple cabbage, bonion, bacon bits, jalapeno, salt, pepper, Knorr seasoning, butter, cheese, mayonnaise (mix with eggs to make it fluffy and creamy) and chili sauce.

When Can Cook ? Sarawak Ayam Pansuh

This year, one of our new year resolution is to try making Ayam Pansuh. It's originated from Sarawak, the Porkydigans hometown. Porky just SMS his runner in Cat's City to bring some of the rare ingredients over for this culinary project. Next, will be bamboo hunting once Big Cat is back next week. Pinger crossed says Porky..

Half Organic Dinner

Hmmmm.. while waiting for his giant BeanStalk to grow, Porky already trying out recipe that uses beans. Rather than all vegetable meal tonight, he accidentally (intentionally) dropped 3 farm eggs into it among other ingredients (tomato, salad leaf, purple cabbage, bacon bits, Knorr seasoning, salt and vinegar).

Porky & The Beanstalk

In life, there is always shortcut in pursuing greater wealth and happiness. But there is a catch, it don't come easy and normally with great risks. But according to Porky.. what so lipikult ? (PKSH : difficult), manage the risk and cash out on the reward !!! He planted some magic beans in the garden, and according to him it will grow into a giant beanstalk ! But he haven't work out the part how he going to kill the giant that would be running after him, because chopping the beanstalk will destroy the gateway to unlimited wealth.. hmmmm...

Chicken Rice to Perfection

Anybody can cook chicken rice, just add chicken to the rice.. that's it... no no no.. that is not how Porky does it. After several ambitious attempt, Porky finally perfected the dish, it now taste 'marketable'. Here are the key steps : rub chicken binside out with salt, and boil in pot (water to be 1-1.5" above the chicken), then   after tiny bubbles start to appears, slow simmer for 20 mins. Remove the chicken, you will get stock/broth to cook the rice with, and also the tasty soup (add a little salt & MSG to the soup). Secret No.1, quickly pour some ice cubes on the chicken, to supercool it, this will shrink the skin and preserve the texture and juice inside. Then remove the ice, chop the chicken and dribble a little of sesame oil on it. Keep it warm until serving.

Porky : hmmmm... should I charge the Porkydigan $ 4.5 per plate ??

Chop finely 5 cloves of garlic and 2 thumb size of ginger smashed like a cockroach on the wall. Here is the 2nd secret, lightly fry the chopped garlic and ginger in the rice cooker then mix with soaked rice and stir stir stir (slightly fry the rice). Then pour in the chicken stock/broth into the pot, and cook the rice as normal.

That's it ! secret revealed, 3 ingredients that will make it happen..1) sesame oil  2) garlic and 3) ginger...

All the Porkydigans went to the Melaka Zoo today... guided by tour captain Benjamin, they head straight to visit their good buddies, known as the Capybara Gang. All of them look healthy, fat and round..

Gnome for Porky's Garden

Horton went up to Tagaytay yesterday. He is on a mission, as usual send by Boss Porky. This round, his mission is to recruit helpers to maintain the garden back home in Porky's Cavern. What else can better fit this role than GNOME ! or garden dwarf !. Horton recruited 3 for the moment, as these GNOME is about 1ft tall, 8-10 Kilos each, goal is to recruit 88 ! Apart from helping Porky watering & maintaining the flowers and mango trees in shape, they're believed to be able to ward off evil sorcery and unwanted visitor as well (bad energy says Porky). Oh well, Tudolph the CEO says at least 7 recruitment by Christmas this year, cool !!!

It's 1030pm in Porky's Cavern. Eat supper : checked ! Drink MILKO : checked ! All doors locked : checked !, all curtains closed : checked !, all lights off : checked !, brush teeth : checked ! smelly DOMO pillow : checked !

Horton to the Rescue !

Around this time of the year, it is typhoon season here in the Philippines and its cold and wet. Everybody hiding in their shelter and blanky. A stray mummy cat suddenly move in with a little kitten, to the shaded part of the house. Horton being a PorkyDigan is always compassionate, he realize something need to be done. He quickly took out his drawing board, and design a temporary shelter to keep them safe and warm, plus ample supply of cat food for them.
