Horton return to Zoo.. Pt.1

Apart from trying to complete Porky's list of places to go in Singapore (he jotted it down in his little Paif-Paif-Paif notebook, so there is no way to cheat him this time), Horton also got his own list. Its the Singapore Zoo, yes including the Night Safari !

Merry Christmas 2011 !

Finally, after 364 days of waiting since the last celebration, its finally 12.00 in the midnight ! MERRRRY KEEEEEESSSMAS ! (with roars and cheers from the PorkyDigans under the Big Gween). Here are some of the snapshots..

Since Horton and Porky will be away for Christmas this year, the celebration in Porky's Cavern need to be coordinated from afar. For this, Porky hired a new assistant, Mr. Turdolph the Reindeer. Basically, Mr. Turdolph here will ensure our little Christmas celebration will be megafun for the rest of the Porkydigans. As a part of the tradition, all of them will sing and party and sleep under the Big Gween (our Christmas Tree as Porky refer to it). Horton calculated that the shortest walking distance to the gift boxes is just beneath Big Gween, so everybody decided to sleep under it to be ready for the next day which is the Boxing Day, where all gifts boxes and wrapping will be torned apart ferociously.

Time for HOLIDAY ! Pt.2

Porky and Horton will be in Singapore for 2011 year end holiday, period. Oh well, there are other places to choose from but it was mutually agreed by the counsel of the Porkydigans because its the nearest to Porkyville. They will be taking a bus instead of flying in an angopane, sick and tired of frequent flying lately.

This trip will be exciting and  here are some of the places that we'll be heading to. Porky have jotted down in his 555 notebook 'to do list', here it goes :

1) Punch Shreck in the face at Universal Studios
2) Kidnap a Capybara during the Night Safari in Sg. Zoo
3) Chop down the biggest christmas tree at Orchard Road
4) Recruitment of new Porkydigans from Sg. Zoo

We got ourselves a snowman from the Pippipines, its a giant 1 ft tall snowman. You can keep cookies in it too, Porky will use to keep our midnight snack to kill the late night hungriness.

Horton is back from the Philippine ! He has been sent on a secret mission since Oct'11, to find and purchase Christmas goodies for Porky's Cavern. Here is one cool running light that he brought home. The reindeers looks like babbits (rabbits) and bits very cool, only in my cavern says Porky.

Fried Rice Never Fail

All year long, the porkydigans keep churning out bonderful recipes to keep the inhabitants happy. Some simple, others complex and takes days of preparation. This particular dish is a Pippipine specialty using ingredients from abroad and found locally.. At the end of the day, porkydigans will sit in front of the tv rubbing their summy after the hearty meals...

Cous Cous is a type of staple food, normally eaten as pasta dish in Morroco, Algeria, Tunisia and rest of the world. Earlier attempt to cook it the way it should be by Porky turn out to be disasterous (it became cement !). Porky's Cavern has always been a venue for fun and parties with family and friends. The need for an outdoor BBQ Set is inenvitable. What fun of a party without BBQ ? Well, Benjamin have no choice but to buy those crappy zinc unit charcoal stand (not even worthy to refer as BBQ set) when we first move here, but behold.. he had seek the service of engineer Horton to design and build him a masterpiece, its called 'BenPork 3000' ! yeah.. BenPork 3000 ! It is made from wood, durable, practical and upgradable (to gas BBQ set in 2012).. Well, it was completed earlier in Jan this year and placed in the garden under the unforgiving hot weather of Melaka, it still stand up proud until today. Ir Horton is really a genius, he deserve 2 peanuts for his contribution ! ! !

Kite Flyers from around the world came here for the weekend, nothing extravagant ... very common lorrr as Benjamin says it. Anyway, it was fun, but very hot.. so little Ben stays in the tent n enjoy his strawberry ice cream.. yummy..

The Final Frontier

Mr. Slappy the evil genius has finally completed his greatest creation of all time ! its a spaceship that will take him to greater heights via the greenest, pollution free engine available today. He will explore the final frontier where no cats has gone before. According to him, to withstand the meteor shower up there, he uses woven bamboo like those carbon fibre race car body he saw in the F1 Race. So strap on the seatbelt, and up up we go !
